New Dance Form (NDF) bonded one June afternoon over jokes about the future and an appreciation for the short stories of the great Irish writer, William Trevor. Haunted by similar demons, they spent the subsequent summer drinking red wine and strolling about Prenzlauerberg in matching imaginary black capes.
They released their only track, "Since We Last Met," on legendary label DFA and then disappeared. "Since We Last Met" went on to become a minor classic, garnering year end accolades from numerous publications, including Pitchfork's "Best Music Of The Decade So Far".
They are set to release "Cruel Is The Color" on London-based Foom at the end of October 2016, just in time for autumn's twilit melancholy.
